The Grand Caymanian Resort is the only all-suite, oceanfront resort on Grand Cayman's North Sound. Each suite offers more interior space than typical hotel rooms on the island and comes with a private balcony or patio. Driftwood Bar & Grill serves a Caribbean-inspired menu and was named Best Bar and Grill by the Best of the Cayman Islands in both 2023 and 2024. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast with select packages, and guests can watch live music or live sport events several nights a week. A $30 daily food and beverage credit is available for upgraded suites, and the bar serves wine, champagne, and specialty diets are accommodated.

Activities & Recreation

The resort has a 240-foot dock that provides direct access for snorkeling and water activities, with starfish and fish visible from the pier. An on-site watersports operator arranges stingray city tours and other marine excursions that pick up directly from the pier. Guests can also use the freshwater pool, two pickleball courts, and a fitness centre, or explore the nearby North Sound Golf Club.

Families can book spacious suites that connect into larger configurations, and the property offers a children's menu at the restaurant. A free shuttle service runs to Seven Mile Beach and local grocery stores, and the 24-hour front desk can arrange sightseeing tours. Owen Roberts International Airport is 9 km away, and taxis cost roughly $40 each way.
